Councillor Tedjo, Chair called the meeting to order at 6:01 PM.

Sharon Chapman, Manager, Parks and Culture Planning spoke to Site Specific Storage.

Councillor Tedjo enquired about cycling club storage locations and enquired about temporary and future storage sites. Ms. Chapman responded to the enquires from Councillor Tedjo.

Matthew Swett, Manager, Active Transportation provided an update to the Cycling Master Plan.

Michelle Sanstra, Legislative Coordinator regarding the Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee 2023 Workshop and Appreciation Dinner on December 12, 2023

Michelle Sanstra, Legislative Coordinator advised the Committee that the upcoming meeting scheduled for December 12, 2023 would be cancelled and replaced with a workshop to formulate a MCAC work plan and an appreciation dinner.

Councillor Tedjo spoke to workshop and appreciation dinner.

  1. That the Missississauga Cycling Advisory Committee meeting on December 12, 2023 be cancelled and that an appreication dinner and workshop be held in its place.
  2. That funds in the amount of up to $500 be allocated from the Council Committees Budget for the costs associated with the Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee appreciation dinner.

Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee 2023 Action Item List (5 Minutes)

Vicki Tran, Citizen Member advised the Committee that she will be attending the 2024 Winter Cycling Congress.

Councillor Tedjo spoke to the Action Item List.

10.1

Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee 2024 Meeting Date Memorandum

Councillor Tedjo spoke to the Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee 2024 Meeting Date Memorandum and advised the Committee that the frequency of meetings will be reduced from 12 meetings per year to 10 meetings per year.

  1. That the Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee 2024 Meeting Date Memorandum, be approved as discussed.
  2. That the Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee Terms of Reference be updated to reflect the change of frequency of meetings from 12 times per year to 10 times per year, or as determined by the Committee at the call of the Chair, as the August meeting is no longer required and the December meeting will be an appreciation dinner and workshop.
