Jim Holmes, Chair and Citizen member called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM

Ani Grigoryan, Legislative Coordinator recited the Indigenous Land Statement.

There were no deputations presented to the Meadowvale Village Heritage Conservation District Subcommittee.

There were no questions for public question period.

Subcommittee members spoke to their concerns with the proposed doors on the east side of the home and inquired if they would be sliding doors.  Subcommittee Members further noted that the doors were out of character for the village.

Gagandip Singh, Architect spoke to the proposed door design as being two panels with glass inserts and noted they would try to use the same exterior finishes as the facade of the home.

John Dunlop, Manager, Indigenous Relations, Culture and Heritage Planning spoke to the doors and noted that a condition would be placed on the permit to state that the door design was pending approval.

    1. That the request to alter the Part V heritage designated property at 1155 Willow Lane (Ward 11), as per the Memorandum from the Manager of Indigenous Relations, Culture and Heritage Planning, dated September 9, 2025, be approved.
    2. That the proposed doors meet the design requirements set forth within the Meadowvale Village Heritage District Plan as reviewed and approved by staff.
