Councillor Mahoney, Chair called the meeting to order at 9:30 AM.

Councillor Mahoney, Chair recited the Indigenous Land Statement.

C. Bullock and L. McCallum spoke to the policy scope, including rate and fee structures, daytime and overnight charge scenarios, idle fees and exemptions, rationale for the consumption-based fee, and outlined next steps.

Committee Members engaged in discussion, commenting and inquiring about the following:

  • Cost-recovery
  • Enforcement
  • Existing App for notifications and tracking
  • Year-end reporting
  • Rates for Level 3 chargers
  • Rate structures compared to other municipalities
  • Overnight idle fee
  • Signage at charging stations, and
  • Charging fees for staff
