Pursuant to Section 42 of the Council Procedure By-law 0139-2013, as amended:

Heritage Advisory Committee may grant permission to a member of the public to ask a question of Heritage Advisory Committee, with the following provisions:

1.Questions shall be submitted to the Clerk at least 24 hours prior to the meeting;
2.A person is limited to two (2) questions and must pertain specific item on the current agenda and the speaker will state which item the question is related to;.
3.The total public question period time is 15 minutes maximum and shall not be extended by the Chair; and
4.Any response not provided at the meeting will be provided in the format of a written response

Jim Holmes, Citizen Member expressed concern regarding the impact of construction on the village, and was informed that staff would continue to work with the Region on this project.

Ajay Puri of the Region of Peel advised the Committee that residents would be notified of a public meeting scheduled for next month. Mr. Puri responded to the Committee concerns regarding truck traffic through the village.

    1. That lime based mortar be used for the chimney repointing; and
    2. That if the new porch tile is found to match the existing, the side porch tiling be repaired rather than replaced.

Matthew Wilkinson, Citizen Member inquired how listing the property located at 3611 Mavis Road pertains to a rented facility and was advised by staff that it can be either listed or designated. The Committee discussed the commemoration of the property due to its cultural significance.

Mr. Dunlop, Manager, Heritage Planning and Indigenous Relations provided the Committee an update on the Glen Abby Golf course and advised the Committee that Clublink withdrew its appeal.

Mr. Dunlop advised the Committee that the renovation and reinstallation of the bellfry tower was nominated for an architecture conservatory award.
