Pursuant to section 84 (1) of the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, in the event that the applicant wishes to increase capacity, the applicant will need to submit a separate application for municipal approval in order for the municipality to consider whether the application is in the public interest. In the absence of municipal consent, the applicant will be prohibited from increasing the capacity of the cemetery.
