Councillor Dasko, Vice-Chair called the meeting to order at 9:34AM

Councillor Dasko, Vice-Chair recited the Indigenous Land Statement.

That the September 3, 2024 Environmental Action Committee Agenda be approved, as presented.

Tony Iacobelli, Executive Director, Centre for Community Energy Transformation (CCET) spoke to the mandate, energy programs, and milestones of CCET. 

Alice Casselman, Community Organization Representative inquired about roofing materials in retrofits and commented on the role of trees in Co2 reduction and T. Iacobelli responded.

Councillor Dasko inquired about the free energy coaching program and T. Iacobelli responded.

Leya Barry, Climate Change Supervisor spoke to the Peel Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Strategy 2024 Progress Update highlighting the strategy, progress, actions, and next steps.

Councillor Tedjo inquired and commented on the types, speeds, and rates of EV chargers, and L. Barry responded.

Alice Casselman, Community Organization Representative spoke to newsletters for EV owners and inquired about solar panels over charging stations; and L. Barry responded.
