Councillor Mahoney, Chair recited the Indigenous Land Statement.

Ms. Bullock provided a presentation on Public EV (Electric Vehicle) chargers and spoke to locations and charging connections, station usage, potential future locations and Regional Zero Emission Vehicle Strategy.

Alice Casselman, Community Organization Representative inquired about the location of the downtown lot. Ms. Bullock responded to Ms. Casselman's inquiry.

    That the deputation and associated presentation from Carrah Bullock, Climate Change Specialist regarding the Public EV Chargers, be received.

Ms. Gibson provided a presentation on Waste Management - Advancing Circular Economy and Litter Mitigation and spoke to circular economy, climate change action plan, collaboration in 2021 and 2022, and the Central Library Renovation Project.

Alice Casselman, Community Organization Representative informed the Committee of a presentation that is in the development stages regarding a Spring Walk with Naked Trees and made a suggestion regarding shoe recycling.

Brad Bass, Citizen Member referred to an article regarding how rising carbon prices will encourage the circular economy and will circulate the article to committee members at a future date.

Ms. Gibson spoke briefly about the Central Library renovation project and spoke about the wider social media buzz its received.
