Councillor Mahoney, Chair called the meeting to order at 9:35 AM.

Ms. Zimmerman and Ms. Suzuki-Bracewell provided a presentation on the City of Mississauga’s Urban Agriculture Strategy.

Members of the Committee raised questions regarding school board engagement, community gardens, and city facilitated community green houses.  Ms. Suzuki-Bracewell and Ms. Zimmerman responded that discussions around engagement with the school boards as well as community green houses and gardens are underway and would report back a future date. Britt McKee, Community Group Representative noted the online educational resource guides that focus on establishing green initiatives at schools
