John Dunlop, Manager Heritage Planning and Indigenous Relations provided Subcommittee Members with the context of the application and discussed the location of the stairs, the removal of trees to accommodate the snow-clearing route and the driveway width being part of the Second Line West Project. 

Subcommittee Members commented as follows: 

•    if the stairs would be visible from the road, 
•    the width of the driveway, and the amount of gravel that would be used
•    whether sod would be laid;
•    requested that staff provide the Subcommittee with the landscape plans for the gravel driveway prior to proceeding with the project.

    That the memorandum from John Dunlop, Manager, Heritage Planning and Indigenous Relations, entitled “Request to Alter 7004 Second Line West (Ward 11)”, dated July 12, 2022, be approved with the provision that the landscape plan in regard to the gravel driveway be provided to the Subcommittee prior to approval.

    That the Memorandum dated July 18, 2022 entitled "Update to the 2022 Meadowvale Village Heritage Conservation District Subcommittee Meeting Dates", from Martha Cameron, Legislative Coordinator, be received for information.

John Dunlop, Manager Heritage Planning and Indigenous Relations updated the Subcommittee on the application of the vinyl wrap to the guard rail located on Second Line West and informed the Subcommittee that painting the back of the rail would be costly.
