David Breveglie, Development Planner provided an overview of the Draft Plan of Subdivision, Official Plan Amendment and Rezoning applications. Committee Members engaged in discussion and enquired about community engagement, odor reduction measures, vacuum waste collection, district energy, retail square footage, arts and culture, and affordable housing.

- Glen Broll, GSAI noted support for the recommendation report and thanked Members of Council.
- Joanne DeGraaf, Resident noted support for the development with respect to arts and culture.
- Michael Bacon, Resident noted support for the development with respect to arts and culture and further noted that it would have a positive impact on the community.
- Rea Lingo, Resident noted support for the development and spoke to the positive community engagement process.
- Jim Chu, Resident noted support for the development and expressed concerns with the delayed timeline of the development.
- Deborah Goss, Resident noted support for the development and spoke to the community engagement process, intensification, and affordable housing. Ms. Goss also expressed concerns with height density, built form, transit, and the impact on the waterfront.
- Amber Stewart, Counsel to 1207238 Ontario Inc., Rangeview 1035 Holding Inc., and Rangeview 1045 Holding Inc. noted support for the development and also noted concerns with the implementation of the Ogden Avenue extension and the adjacent linear park.
Mr. Breveglie and Andrew Whittemore, Commissioner, Planning and Building responded to questions. Lin Rogers, Manger, Transportation Projects responded to traffic related questions.
